Mintimer Shaimiev takes part in the opening of the Field Day in Tatarstan - 2018 Exhibition

On June 28, in Laishevo municipal region of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Akhmetov and Director General of Rosagroleasing Company Valery Nazarov took part in a solemn opening of the Field Day in Tatarstan-2018 Exhibition, the largest agro-industrial event in the Volga region.

In his welcoming speech, Minnikhanov noted that the latest technological solutions in the field of crop production and livestock are presented at the exhibition.

"I thank all participants of the exhibition. I am sure that everyone can get a huge amount of useful visual information. This event will be in a great demand within a few days. An eventful business programme, including master classes, round tables, various meetings is offered. This form of work is very useful,” Minnikhanov added.

Speaking at the event, Nazarov stressed that today the leasing company is a strategic partner of Tatarstan. "In May last year Minnikhanov and I signed an agreement and today we can say that during our joint work, we have delivered 3,500 pieces of equipment, 77,000 heads of breeding cattle and about 270,000 cattle stalls have been created in Tatarstan. I want to assure you that our relations will only develop. I am glad that I am participating in such a professional holiday of agricultural producers of Tatarstan,” Nazarov said.

The honoured guests looked around the exposition, in particular, got acquainted with various types of agricultural machinery, new crop varieties, environmentally friendly plant protection products, as well as visited the stands of the exhibitors.

The Field Day in Tatarstan – 2018 is an open presentation of products, goods and services in real field conditions. The exhibition presents all categories of facilities used in agriculture from high-yielding crop varieties, efficient fertilizers and crop protection products to tillage and harvesting machinery. This year, 152 companies from 21 Russian region, the Republic of Belarus and Hungary are taking part in the event.
