Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov noted that preparation for the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the TASSR is becoming more intense with the approach of this significant date. The significance of this large-scale event is determined by the Decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin on the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of Tatarstan in 2020. The document was signed in April this year.

I am glad that the Ministry of Culture of Russia supported the initiative of Tatarstan to hold tours and exhibitions of Tatarstan theaters and museums at the best venues and halls of Moscow in 2020. Minnikhanov also said that the Central Bank of Russia supported the proposal to issue a coin made of precious metals dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the republic. The coin is included in the draft plan for issuing memorable investment coins for 2020.

Preparation for issuing a medal for the 100th anniversary of the formation of the TASSR is also underway. Its status as a regional state award has been agreed.

A logo of festive symbols of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the republic has been developed and agreed.

It was also decided to build and reconstruct a number of landmark facilities in the capital of Tatarstan - Kazan.

"A lot has been done within a year, but we still have more work to do,” Minnikhanov stressed.
