Within the framework of contest «Manager of the Year award» Rustam Minnikhanov handed sixth awards «Gratitude of Tatarstan President»

Today RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the official ceremony of awarding the laureates of the republican contest «Manager of the Year award», the laureates and diploma holders of the contest for seeking the awards of RT Government for quality by results of the year 2011. RT State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev attended the event.

The event took place in the «Korston» (Kazan) in which participated also RT Prime minister Ildar Khalikov, representatives of the ministries and institutions, chiefs and top managers of major industrial RT enterprises.

Today we should think on stability of the economy and further development of the republic, stated Rustam Minnikhanov, stability will be, if Tatarstaners have work, good salary and good perspectives. Much depends on our enterprises, on their progressing and modernization.

Speaking in general on results of the outgoing 2011 Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned that the year was not simple, rich in events including sorrowful ones.

But we have managed to achieve all the planned indices.

The republic has channeled 14.5 bln. rub. for implementing the program of social mortgage that enables to construct not less 10-11 ths. apartments, 4.3 bln. rub. for the program of major repairing of multi-apartment houses, more 3 bln. rub. for the program «Belekech» in part of provision children over 3 year old with places in kindergartens.

RT President enhanced specially that for the republic it was always important to reach GRP in amount of 1 trl. rub. This year GRP volume is expected in amount of 1,3 trl. rub.

And by 2016 Tatarstan puts the task to attain GRP volume 2 bln. rub. And without development and modernization, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded, it is impossible to reach this goal.

RT President marked that among the republic’s achievements – launching of new oil processing plant (Complex of oil chemical and oil refineries in Nizhnekamsk – JSC «TANECO»), first in history of new Russia. Already 2 mln.t. of Tatarstan oil has been processed at the JSC «TANECO».

Infrastructure for small and middle business –techno-parks, techno-polices, business-incubators - is developing by serious rates in the republic.

So, one of the platforms - Kamsky industrial park «Master» will produce by the results of 2011 the output for the sum of about 20 bln. rub..

One of the points of growth for the republic – special economic zone «Alabuga» where already by words of Rustam Minnikhanov 26 companies-residents are operating.

In the nearest three years the investments for SEZ “Alabuga” development are expected in amount of 70 bln. rub. Tatarstan has reached successes in progressing agro-industrial complex as well despite that past years appeared to be hard but we have managed to preserve cattle live stock, Rustam Minnikhanov marked.

He also reminded that the republic besides backing large agro-holdings renders help to individual households and family farms. According to the plan to create a thousand family farms in Tatarstan, we have managed to fulfill already the half, Rustam Minnikhanov informed.

In general, the Republic of Tatarstan – leader by many parameters in the economy and industry among the Russian regions, RT President stated but we should remember that we could not have achieved such results without you – major industrial enterprises.

Yes, we have achieved much but today there are more deeds to be accomplished, Rustam Minnikhanov holds. In approaching year the republic must participate maximum in all federal programs. The main of which is preparing and holding summer Universaide - 2013 in Kazan.

Namely, preparation for the Universiade -2013 enabled to completely change the appearance of Tatarstan, Kazan, to hold modernization of the international airport Kazan, in perspective to connect the airport and center downtown with a rapid transit.

President of Tatarstan thanked the enterprises and organizations, their collectives and veterans for the work. Namely, the veterans have laid, by his words, the basis of the republic’s economy which allows us today to achieve significant results.

We should be more ambitious and think about the further prospects, Rustam Minnikhanov stated. Head of the republic announced that this year within the contest «Manger of the Year» a new award has been established – «Gratitude of Tatarstan President».

He personally delivered the first sixth awards to the managers of the enterprises, having made the most contribution to the economy of Tatarstan and the country as a whole. By President of Tatarstan edict the awards «Gratitude of Tatarstan President» were bestowed to Vladimir Busygin, general director of JSC «Nizhnekamskneftekhim»; Rafkat Kantyukov, general director ООО «Gazprom transgaz Kazanь»; Sergei Kogogin, general director JSC «KAMAZ»; general director JSC «Kazansky helicopter plant» Vadim Legai; Albert Shigabutdinov, general director JSC «TAIF»; Shafagat Takhautdinov, general director JSC «Tatneft».
