Session of Anti-corruption Council at RT President chaired by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has been held in House of RT Government. State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended the session. Heads of municipalities, territorial departments of federal tax service, law enforcement bodies, representatives of self-regulated organizations, arbitrary executives and others took part in the session in format of video conference.
Opening the session Rustam Minnikhanov noted that the issue of bankruptcy is very urgent for republic. “We have to state that bankruptcy procedures are not very efficient. According to practice in Russia and Tatarstan connected with financial recovery contest, bankruptcy proceedings prevail”, - head of republic said.
In accordance with data presented by Centre of economic and social research 5,5 thousand bankruptcy cases have been considered since 2007. President stated that since 2008 total number of bankruptcy cases has increased, and it exceeds All-Russian rates.
Extremely low efficiency of bankruptcy proceedings executed in Tatarstan Republic and inadequate control of government bodies were marked at the session. It creates grounds for using institute of bankruptcy by individuals for personal and often illegal interests, particularly as a possible way of unreasonable enrichment.
“I should acknowledge that activity of authorized and supervision bodies do not influence efficiency of bankruptcy proceedings. There are several control agencies in republic which were founded for organizing interaction of government bodies. Judging by the situation they do not realize their functions properly”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
