Mintimer Shaimiev visits Bolgar State History and Architecture Museum Reserve

July 1, Tatarstan State Councillor Mintimer Shaimiev visited the Bolgar State History and Architecture Museum Reserve where he inspected the venues restored in the framework of the comprehensive project ‘Cultural Heritage of Tatarstan: ancient town of Bolgar and island town of Sviyazhsk’.

The Centre of archaeological research of the History Institution named after Shigabiddin Mardzhani is carrying out archeological research on the territory of the Museum Reserve. These works are in big demand as constructors are expecting the works to be finished to start working.

Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture ZIlya Valeyeva, Head of the Secretariat of the Tatarstan State Councillor Zyavdat Salikhov, Aide to the Tatarstan President on social issues, Head of the Republican Fund of revival of historical and cultural monuments Tatyana Larionova, Tatarstan Transport and Roads Minister Lenar Safin, Head of the Spassky Municipal District Rafail Makhmutov and other officials accompanied the Tatarstan State Councillor.
