Reception for Great Patriotic War veterans was held at the Kazan Kremlin

The reception hosted by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in honour of Great Patriotic War veterans was been held in the Coat of Arms Hall at the Kazan Kremlin on May 9.

The event traditionally held on May 9 was dedicated to the 65th Anniversary of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 this year.

Military veterans, workers of the home front, representatives of republican public organizations of veterans, heads of power bodies and the Kazan Harrison were present at the reception.

Among those who gathered to greet the veterans were Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.

Speaking at the reception Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stated that everything being done for the veterans in the country, in the republic was being done from bottoms of our hearts, sincerely.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov raised a toast to the Great Victory, the exploit of the veterans, their heroism.
