Farid Mukhametshin: “Tatarstan and Saratov Region have always been good partners”

Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin took part in the official swearing-in ceremony of Saratov Region Governor Pavel Ipatov on April 6. Russia President’s Plenipotentiary representative in the Volga Federal Region Grigory Rapota, the Council of Federation members and the State Duma deputies, representatives of the Volga Federal Region attended the ceremony.

On commission of Tatarstan President and on behalf of the republic’s multi-ethnic people, Tatarstan State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin made a speech at the solemn ceremony. The parliament speaker delivered greetings and congratulations to Pavel Ipatov. “Our regions – the Republic of Tatarstan and Saratov Region have always been good and honest partners. We are connected by long-term commercial and economic, scientific and cultural contacts,” the State Council Chairman said.

As part of his one-day visit to Saratov Region, Farid Mukhametshin visited the Tatar National Gymnasia and met with the Tatar community representatives, Tatarstan State Council press-service informs.
