KAMAZ goes to Latin America through China: Joint truck production to take place in the Celestial Empire. The plans of KAMAZ, the leading truck manufacturer in Russia, of establishing a factory with a minimum capacity of churning out 11000 vehicles a year in China are in the works. The production is believed to be planned to start in Dalian. In the event both parties reach a consensus on all points and complete all the necessary procedures, the vehicle production might commence in 2011. All being well, KAMAZ will start exporting the trucks stamped out in China to the countries of Central and Latin America. Besides, by the end of the summer of 2010, the Daimler group is going to have begun producing Mercedes trucks at KAMAZ facilities.
