Kamal troupe to take part in the Ibero-American Theater Festival in Columbia

On march, 19 the Ibero-American Theater Festival kicks off in Bogotá. The Kazan actors are to show a play called “Takdir” staged by Spanish director Aleksandro Gonzales based on the piece “Life is a dream”.

It is twice a year that the Ibero-American Theater Festival takes place with dozens of troupes from dramaturgy theatres from all over the world congregating there. As many as 2 million people visit it. Prior to this time, Russia has been represented at this international forum only by Moscow troupes, for instance, at the previous festival the troupe headed by Petr Fomenko performed a play there. One the eve of the festival Columbia press journalists went to the trouble of publishing some major articles on the Kamal Theatre Troupe and “Takdir”, which had been given to the Forum’s organizers on tape.
