Kazan expo opens at prestigious exhibition in Cannes

The solemn opening of the Kazan display has taken place at the largest international commercial property exhibition MIPIM-2010.

The Kazan delegation has partaken in the exhibition ever since 2006. Sticking by the traditions of the previous years, this year the Republic is presenting the most ambitious projects to be realized in the near future – facilities designed for the World Student Games-2013. The RT exposition has an area of no less than 72 square kilometers at the exhibition.

Among the primary objects to showcase are: the Universiade Village, in which more than 15000 sportsmen from all over the world will be stationed, the Football Stadium with a capacity of 45000 visitors, the Tennis Academy, the Rowing Sports Centre, the Water Sports Palace and the Palace of Single Combats. Also, at the “Kazan-2013’ exposition the projects of the international centre of the Universiade Village will be presented on the territory of which a huge concert hall with a capacity of 2000 visitors is to be constructed along with the projects of the High Scholl Sports Management where bachelors and masters for the sports industry will be trained.
