Architects of the stadium Sochi-2014 agree to take care of the Universiade-2013 football stadium project

The international architectural design bureau Populous, the one that developed the architectural concept of the central stadium for the Winter Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi along with Mosproject-4, has given their consent to work on designing the stadium for International Summer Universiade 2013. The sum to the tune of about 5 billion 679 million rubles has been put up for the construction of the football stadium.

The facility with a capacity of 45,000 visitors meets the 5-stars FIFA standards and will make it possible to hold competitions of the highest international level, European and global semifinals and pregames of Europe in Tatarstan.
