RT State Counselor bill adopted in Tatarstan

The State Counselor of RT bill has been adopted by the RT State Counsel at the final reading.

The bill states that not only the first RT President can assume the post mentioned above upon leaving his office, but the rule also applies to the RT presidents succeeding him, should they ever wish to work for the benefit of the Republic.

According to the bill, the post is held in conformity with 73 and 76 articles of the Constitution of the Russian Federation for the purpose of putting to good use the experience as well as the knowledge of the RT President upon leaving his office for the development of the Republic in political, social-economical and other spheres.

The post of RT State Counselor is in no way a state post or a civil service RT post, with the former president holding it without compensation.
