RF Agriculture Minister Elena Skrynnik visits Tatarstan

Elena Skrynnik, the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, is on a visit to Tatarstan on March 12. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, RT Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture Marat Akhmetov and other officials met the minister at the Begishevo International Airport.

It is planned that Elena Skrynnik will visit the breeding farm, the breeding and hybrid centre of OOO Kamsky bekon, OOO Chelny-Broiler and will see the construction site of the future pre-mix plant (a JV with DSM of the Netherlands).

In the administration of the Tukayevsky Municipal District of Naberezhnye Chelny the Head of the RF Agricultural Ministry is to take part in the plenary meeting on the industrial meat production in the Russian Federation as part of the programme of development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural production markets in 2008-2012.

Mintimer Shaimiev meets Mikhail Piotrovsky

On 16 October in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaymiev, who is also the Chairman of the Trustees Council of the regional Revival Fund, had a meeting with the Director General of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremony of opening a new exposition “The Yusupovs. Luxury across the Centuries” at the Hermitage Kazan Exposition Center and which has been prepared especially for the 20th anniversary of the Hermitage’s first representational centre established in 2005 by celebrations of the Kazan Millennium.
