RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov met with Alfred Perez Bravo, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Russian Federation, at the House of Government on February 26th. They discussed cooperation in some branches of economy.
At the meeting, the Mexican Ambassador declared about his interest in cooperation with Tatarstan as one of the Russian regions. He said that today the interaction between Russia and Mexico is well established and the time to have partners outside of Moscow has come. To strengthen the Russia-Mexico cooperation he suggested that two or three strategic Russian regions should be chosen and closer relations with them should be built.
Mr. Alfred Perez Bravo went on to say that in order to develop cooperation with Tatarstan such spheres as aircraft construction, oil production and procession technologies and cultural exchange should be involved.
The RT Prime Minister gave instructions to set out several anchor projects that would be of interest for the both sides.
