Tatarstan President congratulates famous singer Salavat on jubilee

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev and his wife, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture Zilya Valeyeva, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the State Council deputies, heads of republican ministries and departments came to congratulate the singer.
Tatarstan President congratulated RT People’s Artist and said that Salavat is a singer loved and respected by Tatars from all over the world. “Who can be well-known by Tatars all over the world?” Mintimer Shaimiev said. “It can be only Salavat!”
He thanked Salavat Fatkhutdinov for fascinating creative work and wished him and his family good health and success.

During the conversation Vladimir Putin stated that he is happy to hear bright voice of Mintimer (Sharipovich) and wished him good health and all the best.
