Kamaz attending Russian Timber exhibition

A traditional exhibition called Russian Timber is being held in the city of Vologda. JSC Kamaz and its official partner in the Vologda region Kamaz Leader are presenting new models of timber transport vehicles, reports the company’s press service.

The three-axial full-drive short log truck on the Kamaz-65225 chassis with an Epsilon hydraulic manipulator and on the Kamaz-43118 chassis with the SF-65 hydraulic manipulator, and the 84752 short log truck trailer, specially designed for operation in the north and highly suitable for regions with severe climates and great temperature extremes, as well as the AD-100C diesel electric plant, have aroused great interest from exhibition visitors and specialists.

Design and manufacturing of specialised vehicles for the timber industry is one of the most promising and fast-paced areas for Kamaz. Timber producers and transporters are today offered a whole family of specialised vehicles on Kamaz chassis. Most of the new and serial Kamaz models, including of increased capacity, have versions designed for mounting industrial timber equipment. They are timber and short log auto trains with hydraulic manipulators and without them, prime movers, chip trucks and metal trucks. Customers select an auto package and mountable equipment they need.

While offering a wide range of equipment, Kamaz and its partners continue to design new models.
