13 venues meant for Universiade-2013 will be ready in Kazan in 2010

13 sport venues of the World Summer Universiade-2013 are planned to be put into operation in 2010. Tatarstan Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Irek Faizullin told a press-conference in Kazan.

According to Irek Fayzullin, the republic utilized nearly 11 billion rubles from the federal budget this year. The money were directed for construction of sports venues and the Universiade village.

The deputy minister also said that at least 10 billion rubles from the federal subsidy to Tatarstan budget would be spent on construction of sports objects and the Games village. There is a possibility of receiving 13 billion rubles from federal financing next year. This money will provide opportunities for putting into operation 13 sport objects including Volleyball Centre, Gymnastics Centre and about one third of the Games-2013 village.
