Hilton Garden Inn to be built in Kazan

The decision has been made to build a Hilton Garden Inn hotel in the Saint-Petersburg street in Kazan.

The construction project was yesterday discussed at the Kazan Executive Committee. Attendees at the meeting were the committee’s head Rafis Burganov, head of the Vakhitovsky District Ruslan Shakirov, general director of LR Russia Hotel Development AB David Jovanis and architect John Seifert.

The Hilton Garden Inn project was designed by the famous British architect John Seifert who has an extensive experience in hotel design, including for Hilton, said the Vakhitovsky District administration’s press service.

Hilton is a large hotel chain owned by Hilton Hotels Corporation. The first Hilton hotel was opened in 1925 in Dallas. At the moment, the chain includes over 500 hotels worldwide.

In the next 10 years, up to 70 hotels under the Hilton brand and other brands owned by Hilton Hotels Corporation are intended to be opened in Russia.
