Kurban Berdyev presented Russian Council of Mufti’s highest award

The Kazan football club Rubin’s coach Kurban Berdyev was yesterday, during the Eid al-Adha celebration in the Metropol Hotel in Moscow, presented an order by the Russian Council of Muftis, Al Fahr, an order of honour for strengthening spiritual traditions.

Receiving the award, Kurban Berdyev thanked those present for attention and pledged “to try to win the gold in the Russian championship” next year, reports the Muslim Press agency.
