The display presented by Tatarstan was marked highly and awarded the Grand Prix at an exhibition within the Forum of CIS Agricultural Producers that late last week ended in Ashgabad. The event was attended by the Tatarstan Agriculture and Food Minister Marat Akhmetov and heads of some Tatarstan-based agrarian holding companies.

The ministry’s press service told Tatar-inform that the agricultural produce, equipment and advanced technology show had brought together over 140 exhibitors. Companies from Russia and Tatarstan were active participants. One of them was JSC Vamin Tatarstan and another one JSC Ak Bars holding company.

The agricultural forum in the Turkmen capital helped define new approaches of the CIS states to building a long-term interested dialogue in the agribusiness sector, one of the most promising areas for cooperation within the former USSR.
