Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in ceremony of signing Social Doctrine of Russian Muslims in Bolgar

On June 14, within the framework of the Izge Bolgar Zhyeny festival in the Ak Mechet (White Mosque) complex in the ancient town of Bolgar Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn ceremony of signing the Social Doctrine of Russian Muslims.

According to developers of this document, the Social Doctrine of Russian Muslims will become an effective tool for representing the interests of the Muslim community in Russia and in the world. The doctrine encompasses matters related to public morality, healthy lifestyle, family and children.

This document also touches upon the relations to social vices, patriotism, state and government service, the attitude of Muslims to representatives of other religions and other matters.

Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev and heads of centralized religious organizations of Russia took part in the event.
