IX congress of the Council of municipalities of Tatarstan Republic held in Kazan

On December 26, in his speech in the 9th congress of Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to the delegates for their work and noted the important role of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan in development of Tatarstan.

Tatarstan’s State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chairman of the RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, deputies of RF State Duma, members of Tatarstan Government and delegates from all 956 municipalities of RT participated in the event.

Chairman of the Council of municipalities Minsagit Shakirov made a main report on the results of municipality work, emphasizing that 44 out of 50 items of plans have been realized.

Later,Tatarstan President presented the annual economic and social report for 2014. The gross regional product is expected to reach 1.630 trillion roubles (1.3 % to the level of 2013),the industrial output is to make 1.658 trillion roubles, the investment volume in fixed assets is to comprise 539 billion roubles, the average monthly wage is to be 28,711 roubles.

Within the confines of the congress, Tatarstan President pointed out the most priority project to be implemented next year. To the point, all of the planned social projects have been realized this year.

According to Rustam Minnikhanov, the implementation of major projects will be continued next year.

Summing up, Tatarstan president presented RT state awards: Medals for Valorous Labour, titles of honour, letters of gratitude.
