Mintimer Shaimiev takes part in session of Tatarstan State Council

On February 13 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the 48th session of State Council of the 4th convocation.

Deputies unanimously voted for the bill “On certain issues of pet care in the Republic of Tatarstan”, and the bill “On amendments to the articles 12 and 17 of the law “On rendering free legal aid to citizens in the Republic of Tatarstan” that were passed in the third reading.

Deputies also listened to the report First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utility Services Farit Khanifov on the bill “On amendments to the Law “On measures on realization of the article 166 of the Federal law “On assistance to housing construction development”.

Chairman of the Committee on budget, taxes and finance Murad Gadylshin presented the bill “On vesting local self-government of municipal regions and city districts with state powers for preparation for All-Russia agricultural census in 2016”. The bill was passed in the first reading.

Chairman of the Committee on state building and local self-government Valentina Lipuzhina presented the bill “On amendments to the Code of the Republic of Tatarstan on municipal service” and “On amendments to the Law “On executive authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan”.

Deputies also approved the scheme of single member electoral districts for holding parliamentary elections on September 14, 2014. Chairman of Central election commission Ekzam Gubaidullin also made a report at the session.
