Vladimir Putin and Mintimer Shaimiev participated in the start up of assembly line in engine assembly department at ZAO Cummins-KAMA

November 17, in the engine assembly department at ZAO Cummins-KAMA the ceremony of start up of the assembly line took place. Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the ceremony.

Before the ceremony the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and accompanying dignitaries took a look at the enterprise workshops and diesel engine samples, talked to the workers, assembling the engines.

ZAO Cummins-KAMA is a joint venture producing engines meeting Euro-3, Euro-4 and Euro-5 standards. The joint venture is established by OAO KamAZ and Cummins Inc. group of companies, a recognized world leader in the field of development and production of diesel engines and diesel-generator facilities.
