Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin in Tatarstan

On 17 November in Begishevo airport an aircraft landed with the Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin aboard. At the aircraft the Head of the Russian Government was met by Plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in Volga federal district Grigoriy Rapota, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev, Mayor of Naberezhniy Chelny Ildar Khalikov, Head of Nizhnekamsk district municipality Aidar Metshin.

In the course of the working trip to Tatarstan, the Russian Prime Minister is expected to participate in the start up of assembly line in the engine assembly department at ZAO Kamminz-KAMA, to visit OA Nizhnekamskneftekhim with the aim to have a look at construction progress of oil refining and petrochemical facilities of OAO TANEKO. Later Vladimir Putin is expected to hold a meeting On measures to enhance gas-chemical and petrochemical sectors.
