Tatarstan will actively develop cultural cooperation with Egypt

Tatarstan will actively develop cultural cooperation with Egypt. Such an agreement was reached within the framework of the visit to this Arabic country of Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Culture Zilya Valeeva.

The reason of Deputy-Prime-Minister’s visit to Egypt was an invitation to the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival, in the course of which the traditional meeting of the presidents of well-known Film Forums took place. Zilya Valeeva took part in this meeting too.

Zilya Valeeva invited Minister of Culture of Egypt Farouk Hosni to Tatarstan. In Cairo ministers discussed the possibility to exchange exhibitions of artists. Within the framework of the meeting parties agreed to prepare concrete proposals on tour of groups and joint projects in coming year 2010.
