Tatarstan delegation takes part in the Bahrain World Economic Summit

The Bahrain World Economic Summit started today, on the 26 of October, in Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, which includes the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Turkish Republic Mr. Gimatdinov and the director-general of the Investment and Finance company "Linova" Mr. Yakupov, takes part in the forum.

A presentation of the economic and investment potential of Tatarstan was held by the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Turkish Republic Mr. Gimatdinov within the bounds of this authoritative International forum for the members of the Government of Bahrain, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of international financial institutions and business circles.

The demonstration of the resources of Tatarstan provoked a sincere interest among the members of the Bahrain Economic Summit, who for the first time familiarized themselves with the rich history and culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the intensive development of its economy.

In the framework of the forum the delegation of Tatarstan will take part in several theme sections, such as the “Investment and Industry” and the “Development of the Islamic banking system” sections, will hold business talks with the government representatives, the businessmen of Bahrain and some foreign participants of the summit. The meeting of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Bahrain Mr. Smirnov will also take place in the context of this summit.
