Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited Kazan secondary school 177

Russian President Dmitri Medvedev visited the sport facilities of Tatarstan’s biggest school 177 of the Novo-Savinovsky district, Kazan on October 23. He was accompanied by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Government Aleksander Zhukov, RT President Mintimer Shaimiev, RF Minister of Education and Science Andrei Fiursenko and other officials.

Dmitri Medvedev reviewed a swimming-pool, attended a basketball class and talked with young sportsmen at the school’s football field.

In the sport hall the physical culture teacher, teacher of 2009 in Kazan, Andrei Evdokimov, presented to the head of state new approaches to physical training of schoolchildren. He said that starting from the 5th grade they have separate classes for boys and girls. It helps improve results for the load can be different engaging boys in sport games while girls can focus on acrobatics and gymnastics.
