The basketball cup among the wheelchair-bound invalids starts on the 21st of October in Kazan in the framework of the I "Russia - Sports State" forum. The basketball competitions, which will take place in the "Olympus" sports complex, will bring together 2 teams from St. Petersburg - "The Basques" and "The Nevsky Alliance”, from Moscow, Tyumen, Kazan, Chelyabinsk, Lithuania, Ukraine and Belarus. The grand opening of the cup competition will be held on the 23rd of October, at 10 o'clock. The leading teams’ contest will take place on the 24th of October, and the games for the prize-winning places – on the 25th of October, the press service MDMST RT informs.
