Kazan to host several students’ championships of Europe in 2010

European championships in table tennis (obligatory sport at the Universiade) and beach volleyball (a sport Kazan Universiade organizers want to include in the additional sports programme) will be held in June of the next year in Kazan.
According to information provided by Tatarstan Youth, Sport and Tourism Ministry, 4 sets of medals will be competed for in individual rating, team rating and pairs at European table-tennis championship under the aegis of FISU. Europe championship in volleyball among students will assemble at least 7 men’s and women’s teams.
