Tatarstan State Council Chairman congratulates Tatarstan on International Older People’s Day

International Older People’s Day is celebrated today. Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan State Council congratulated the generation of creators and winners on this holiday.

“Dear people of Tatarstan!

On October 1, International Older People’s Day we honour our older generation. We express our infinite gratitude to those who created, glorified and defended our multinational Motherland.

Dear veterans, pensioners, I am sincerely glad to thank you for everything you have done and still are doing for Russia and Tatarstan, for each of us. You have always been and remain our pride.

This is not just a high-flown talk. Stability in our republic’s development, the most important fields of its economy would be impossible but for your labour achievements, experience and skills, moral values created by you. Your patience, belief in yourself helped you achieve victory on the fields of the II World War, raise the country from the ruins, upturn virgin soil, conquer space, give the world great scientific discoveries and do a lot of good for our great Motherland.

We wish you health and prosperity, our dear veteran! Let life give you many more windless, sunny and caressing days,” Tatarstan State Council Chairman says.
