Alabuga special economic zone presented at Sochi 2009 forum

The international investment forum Sochi 2009, attended by the Tatarstan delegation, has ended in Sochi. A stand in the Tatarstan’s display area was dedicated to the special economic zone Alabuga, said today the zone’s press service.

The Tatarstan’s official delegation was led by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan, chairman of the advisory board Roustam Minnikhanov. Tatarstan’s display was positioned on a space of 156 square metres. Investment projects were presented on large video screens, interactive terminals and scale models. Visitors could explore the Alabuga’s investment potential at a separate stand within the general display.

The focus of the event was an international communication centre for Russian and foreign most prominent businessmen, scientists and government officials, a venue for discussing issues related to modernisation and innovative development of Russian economy.
