The researchers of Leo Tolstoy works will gather in Kazan

The conference, devoted to the memory of Leo Nikolayevich Tolstoy will take place in Kazan from the 5th till the 9th of October. Last year it was the 180th birthday of this outstanding Russian writer and in 2010 it will be 100 years since his death.

The leading researchers from Moscow, Vyatka, Yasnaya Polyana plan to arrive in our city. In addition to the scientific breakup groups’ work, there will be a presentation of special films about the writer. The round table discussion of the Leo Tolstoy exposition opening problems will rank first among all the activities of the forthcoming conference.
