Universiade-2009 village mayor to share experience with Kazan

Mayor of Belville – the Universiade-2009 in Belgrade- Ranko Tarasevich arrived in Kazan for a working visit.

Ranko Tarasevich is one of the key figures of the passed Universiade. His visit programme to Tatarstan will be very tied up. Issues to be discussed include leisure and logistics of sportsmen, service staff, audience’s entrance to sport objects, transport service at the Universiade village, functional purpose of the housing complex first floor.

Particular attention will be given to voluntary movement – the department structure, recruiting, training, motivating volunteers. Kazan Universiade village project will be the key topic of discussion at a meeting with architect Jose Asebillo. Ranko Tarasevich will be visiting Kazan until September 12.

As it was informed earlier, a mayor of the Universiade village in Kazan will most likely be appointed. The city Mayor Ilsur Metshin made this decision after a visit of Tatarstan delegation to Belgrade. The mayor said he was impressed by the high level of organization of the sport village life at the Universiade-2009.
