Organizing committees of 2013 Universiade in Kazan and 2012 Olympic Games in London ready to cooperate

RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Marat Bariev returned from London where trade and economic meetings of the organizing committees of 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi and 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan with representatives of British business and sport circles took place.

Marat Bariev said talks with construction and investment companies were held as part of trilateral meetings. He also said he was impressed by the scale of sport venues erected for 2012 Olympics and means allocated for construction and reconstruction. The minister visited Wembley Stadium and The 02 Arena where he saw 2012 Olympic Games organizing committee’s ideas get into practice.

The minister marked that agreements to exchange experience among the organizing committees in logistics, construction of sport venues and volunteer movement were reached.
