Mintimer Shaimiev is taking part in a meeting with Prosecutor General of Russia

A joint meeting of RF Prosecutor General and Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President in the Volga Federal District is held in Nizhny Novgorod on August 28. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev is taking part in the event.

The participants of the meeting are planned to discuss issues of better efficiency of interaction and improvement of functioning of state power bodies and public prosecution bodies in the field of obeying labour legislation, including remuneration of labour in the regions of the Volga Federal District.

The meeting is also attended by heads of the regions of the Volga Federal District, deputy prosecutor general Ernest Valeyev, officials of the RF Defence Ministry, the RF Federation of independent trade unions, the head of the Directorate of the Pension Fund of Russia in the Volga Federal District, prosecutors and chief federal inspectors of the region.

Mintimer Shaimiev meets Mikhail Piotrovsky

On 16 October in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaymiev, who is also the Chairman of the Trustees Council of the regional Revival Fund, had a meeting with the Director General of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremony of opening a new exposition “The Yusupovs. Luxury across the Centuries” at the Hermitage Kazan Exposition Center and which has been prepared especially for the 20th anniversary of the Hermitage’s first representational centre established in 2005 by celebrations of the Kazan Millennium.
