Almost 60 thousand foreigners have visited Tatarstan this year

One more stage of the operation named ‘Illegal migrant’ has come to an end in Tatarstan during which officers of the Directorate of the Federal Migration Service of Russia in Tatarstan together with RT Internal Affairs Ministry officers, Gosnarkokontrol and other services checked 1699 employers employing foreigners, 5623 places of accommodation of foreigners and persons without citizenship.

In the framework of the operation as many as 2209 cases of violation of the migration legislation, 1754 cases of violation of the regime of stay in the Russian Federation and 434 cases of violation of rules of employing of foreign human resources were revealed.

Since the beginning of the year, 57868 foreigners and persons without citizenship have visited Tatarstan. 5512 applications to get Russian citizenship were received and 10633 work permits were issued by the Tatarstan Migration Service to foreign citizens, the press-service of the Directorate of the Federal Migration Service of Russia reports.
