August meeting of science and education employees was held in Kazan

Kazan school No 177 hosted the republican August meeting of science and education employees ‘Education system of the Republic of Tatarstan: state, problems and development prospects’ on August 19. Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev attended the event.
Before the meeting, the head of Tatarstan and the head of the Federal Agency Education of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science Nikolai Bulaev, who arrived in Kazan the day before, visited kindergarten No 44 in the Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan.
The plenary meeting started following the President of Tatarstan’s inspection of sports grounds of school No 177 and a talk with representatives of sport schools.

During the conversation Vladimir Putin stated that he is happy to hear bright voice of Mintimer (Sharipovich) and wished him good health and all the best.

On January 20, the First President of Tatarstan, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev celebrates its 89 birthday.
He received numerous congratulations from the state and regional leaders, public figures, figures in science, education and culture and residents of the country and Tatarstan.

On 16 October in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaymiev, who is also the Chairman of the Trustees Council of the regional Revival Fund, had a meeting with the Director General of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremony of opening a new exposition “The Yusupovs. Luxury across the Centuries” at the Hermitage Kazan Exposition Center and which has been prepared especially for the 20th anniversary of the Hermitage’s first representational centre established in 2005 by celebrations of the Kazan Millennium.
