German-Japanese company Takata Petri AG examines possibility of construction factory on release of auto-accessories in Tatarstan

The meeting between RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and representatives of the company Takata Petri AG took place today at the House of RT Government.
The German -Japanese company Takata Petri AG specializes on manufacturing steering wheels, pillows of safety modules, systems of seat belts, sensor based equipment of cars. The company supervises about third of world market of producing automobile systems of safety. The main office of the company is located in Tokyo, productions are placed in Germany, Czechia, France, Poland, India, China, Korea, Malaysia, on Philippines, etc.
For today, the company already has made a decision on creating and accommodation of new manufacture in territory of Russia, a search is underway of the platform for construction a factory on manufacturing auto-accessories. Nizhni Novgorod, Ulyanovsk and territory of Republic Tatarstan are examined as versions.
Welcoming the guest, RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov has thanked them for attention to the republic. «We have heard quite much that your company is going to create manufacture in Russia, and we are ready to offer the best conditions for business, - Rustam Minnikhanov said. - the republic Tatarstan is one of the largest producers of trucks in the country. Today, upon arrival of the company 'Sollers " to Tatarstan, production of cars, minibuses has been arranged also. Head of Tatarstan government stated also that the idea of creating a serious automobile cluster in the republic is quite real and that the leadership of region is interested in appearance of such a strong company, as Takata Petri AG.
In turn, director on regional development Takata Petri AG (Russia) Alexander Gershunovich confirmed intentions of the company concerning new production . « We choose region for construction of a factory, - he told, - and for us the factor of support from the regional government is very important, for this reason we have paid attention to Republic Tatarstan » . According to Mr Gershunovich, the previous contacts with Tatarstan leadership, as well as with management of a special economic zone «Alabuga», have left good impressions on representatives of Takata Petri AG.
« We with pleasure will examine a platform in Tatarstan as a place for localization of our production», - Alexander Gershunovich informed.
In the meeting took part manager on busines development Takata Petri AG, Europe. Stephen Kimmih, manager on general issues of the company Martin Haupt, head of RT Cabinet Administration Shamil Gafarov, head of territorial management of Federal agency on management of special economic zones on RT Igor Nosov, aide to RT Prime Minister on foreign trade activities Iskander Mouflikhanov.
On 20 January in the evening Russian President Vladimir Putin called Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev and congratulated him with his birthday. During the conversation Vladimir Putin stated that he is happy to hear bright voice of Mintimer (Sharipovich) and wished him good health and all the best.
On 20 January, congratulating Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev with his birthday, the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin wrote in his telegramme: “Being a famous and political leader, you have made a substantial contribution into modern development of Tatarstan and have earned the deep respect and gratitude of residents of the republic.
On January 20, the First President of Tatarstan, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev celebrates its 89 birthday.
He received numerous congratulations from the state and regional leaders, public figures, figures in science, education and culture and residents of the country and Tatarstan.
On 16 October in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaymiev, who is also the Chairman of the Trustees Council of the regional Revival Fund, had a meeting with the Director General of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremony of opening a new exposition “The Yusupovs. Luxury across the Centuries” at the Hermitage Kazan Exposition Center and which has been prepared especially for the 20th anniversary of the Hermitage’s first representational centre established in 2005 by celebrations of the Kazan Millennium.
