Tatneft building trunk pipeline to Nizhnekamsk

The Tatneft oil producer has commenced the building of a trunk pipeline from Kaleikino to Nizhnekamsk oil refinery. According to the company’s’ press service, the facility is being built within the Taneko oil refining and petrochemical project in Nizhnekamsk, which chief coordinator is Tatneft. The pipeline is an important part of the infrastructure financed from the Russian Federation’s Investment Fund.

The customer is Transneft, contractor is Tatneft. The construction’s general contractor is Glavneftegazstroiservis, the management company for construction subsidiaries separated into independent service facilities within the Tatneft recent reform.

The pipeline’s total length is over 118 kilometres. The manufacturing plant has shipped about 47 kilometres of pipes. On 31 July, the first joining point was welded at a 720-mm-wide trunk pipe was made. At present, preparatory land works are underway. The construction employs about 400 people and over 2,500 units of construction machinery.
