August 7, Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev visited the Spask and Kamskoe Ustye districts of the republic.
In the Spask district Mintimer Shaimiev was accompanied by Kamil Nugaev, the head of the district. The head of the republic visited a farm of Ivan Bitunov who has 130 head of cattle, including 50 milkers, 40 heifers and 40 young animals. Ivan Butov’s is the only private farm in the republic where cows are kept untethered. “I read some materials about your farm. The results are impressive. It is evident that the master knows what he does,” Mintimer Shaimiev said. Then, the President visited a field with winter rye Radan belonging to Viktoria farm.
Next on the agenda was participation in a meeting on the development of the Bolgar History and Architecture Museum-Reserve that followed a tour around the architectural complex Little town and a flight on a helicopter around the ancient settlement of Bolgar.
The same day, the President of Tatarstan visited the Kamskoe Ustye district where he laid the capsule in the foundation of the gypsum processing and construction materials plant.
