Feature film Most real fairy tale is being shot in Kazan

“In general, Kazan should be built into Hollywood,” said in an interview Leonid Yarmolnik, a famous actor and producer who plays oligarch Boris Koscheyev in the in-production film titled The Most Real Fairy Tale.

While describing the conditions of the shooting of the film which general producer is the actor Sergei Bezrukov, Leonid Yarmolnik said: “We feel very comfortable working here, we are treated very well. The treatment is not the point though, rather the fact that every type of location can be found in Kazan, anything can be shot, both history and present day. Thank God, filmmakers have not yet made any trouble here, so we are treated well.”

Kazan is one of the most beautiful cities, says Leonid Yarmolnik. “In terms of air, space, combination of architecture, water and sky, it is one of the finest cities,” he said. “Kazan is very unique, looks line no other city. I like it that Kazan has over the recent years bloomed, becoming clean, transparent, beautiful, modern-looking, while retaining what we call history.”

Another advantage is the city’s proximity to Moscow, added Mr Yarmolnik. “It is great production-wise, one hour by plane and you are here.”
