German culture week conducted in Kazan

On July 24-28, Kazan's "Livadija" health resort hosted a working meeting of Inter-regional coordination councils of the ethnic Germans of Povolzhje and the Southern part of Russia. The meeting was conducted in the framework of the "German culture week" project, organized by the Russian Federation ministry of regional development together with an association of non-profit organizations "German house of the Republic of Tatarstan".

The meeting was attended by representatives of Russia's ethnic Germans organizations from Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Moscow, Orenburg, Rostov-on-Don, Saratov, Samara, Stavropol, Tula, Ulyanovsk, Ufa, as well as from Kazan and the cities of Tatarstan.
