Delegation of Turkish healthcare specialists visiting Tatarstan

On 29th of July, Kazan welcomed a visiting delegation of Turkish healthcare specialists. Their acquaintance with Tatarstan healthcare began with a visit to an educational center for training of specialists on high-tech medicine. Then, the guests learned operational details of the Republic's clinical hospital perinatal care center, express laboratory, reanimation unit, surgery block and other facilities.

Later the delegation visited Inter-regional clinical diagnostics center, familiarized itself with operation of its departments, surgical block and reanimation for cases of heart problems.

On January 20, the First President of Tatarstan, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev celebrates its 89 birthday. He received numerous congratulations from the state and regional leaders, public figures, figures in science, education and culture and residents of the country and Tatarstan.

Mintimer Shaimiev meets Mikhail Piotrovsky

On 16 October in the Kazan Kremlin Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaymiev, who is also the Chairman of the Trustees Council of the regional Revival Fund, had a meeting with the Director General of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, who came to Kazan to take part in a ceremony of opening a new exposition “The Yusupovs. Luxury across the Centuries” at the Hermitage Kazan Exposition Center and which has been prepared especially for the 20th anniversary of the Hermitage’s first representational centre established in 2005 by celebrations of the Kazan Millennium.
