Republican workshop meeting for implementing anti-recession measures in agriculture industry has been held in Tatarstan’s Laishevo region

On July 13, a workshop meeting has been held in Tatarstan’s Laishevo region on implementing anti-recession measures for the purpose of intensifying agriculture industry’s efficiency, bringing together the industry’s staff and scientific and engineering potential to store feed stuff and carry out a successful harvest in 2009. President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev attended the session.

Prior to the plenary session, on the test fields of the Tatarstan Agriculture Research Institute TATNIISKHOZ workshop attendees studied new technologies for cultivating spring- and winter-planted leguminous cultures, oil-bearing crops, perennial grasses, corn and potato, as well as protection of plants.
