A meeting of the Organizational Committee on preparation for 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 has been held in Kazan

The meeting of the Organizational Committee on preparation for the 27th World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan chaired by Russian First Vice-Premier, Chairman of the organizational committee Igor Shuvalov was held at the Kazan City Hall on July 10.

The participants of the meeting discussed the implementation of the plan of preparation for the Universiade, development of the transport and city infrastructure and introduction of state-of-the-art information and communication technologies in the process of preparation for the Universiade.

Tatarstan President Mintimer Shaimiev, other members of the organizational committee, representatives of federal and republican power bodies and other officials also attended the meeting.
