Igor Shuvalov expected in Kazan to examine Universiade-2013

Russian Government First Deputy Chairman Igor Shuvalov will hold a session of the organizing committee for preparation and organization of the World Summer Universiade-2013 on July 10.

Tatarstan Minister on Youth Affairs, Sport and Tourism Marat Bariev informed about “Kazan-2013” organizing committee head Igor Shuvalov’s forthcoming visit at a press conference at the Republican agency for press and mass communication Tatmedia.

According to Marat Bariev’s words, a session of “Kazan-2013” organizing committee will take place in Kazan on July 10. The following officials are expected to come to Tatarstan capital on this day: the Russian Federation First Vice-Premier Igor Shuvalov, Minister of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy Vitaly Mutko, Minister of Transport Igor Levitin, low-enforcement organizations and others.

The guests will visit some construction objects of the World Student Games-2013 – the Universiade Village, Single Combat Palace, Water Sports Palace, etc.

After that, the organizing committee session will be held at Kazan City Hall. Marat Bariev informed that three issues are on the agenda. In March 2009 “Kazan-2013” approved the preparation plan; realization of this plan will be discussed. Issues of transport infrastructure and implementation of modern IT-technologies in the Universiade organization process will be considered.
