Tatarstan ministers take internship in Singapore

An educational seminar for heads of republican ministries and departments began on June 29 in Singapore. For two weeks, Tatarstan state officials will learn public administration technologies and elaboration of strategies for developing economy and social field sectors, which are under their supervision.

Extension courses of Tatarstan state officials began at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Then they will learn the public administration system at Singapore Civil Service College. This higher education institution is a state committee at the civil service department under Singapore Prime Minister’s administration.

Organization of the educational seminar for republican ministries’ heads in Singapore was discussed at a meeting of Tatarstan Economy Minister Marat Safioullin and the Republic of Singapore Ambassador to the Russian Federation Simon Tensing de Cruz in April 2009.
