‘Tatar House’ to host meetings of Russian athletes during Belgrade Universiade

‘Tatar House’, an analogue of ‘Russian House’ at the Olympic Games, will be open at the 25th World Summer Universiade in Belgrade (Serbia) on July 1-12, the head of Russian delegation at the Universiade in Belgrade, Russian Student Sports Union President Oleg Matytsin informed ‘Ves Sport’ agency.

“For the first time in the history of Russian teams’ participation, a centre for meetings - ‘Tatar House’ will be open at the Universiade in Belgrade. As one can figure out from the name, it is organized by ‘Kazan-2013’ committee. Ceremonies of honouring Russian prize-winners of the Universiade, cultural and entertainment events, visits of distinguished guests will be held at ‘Tatar House’.

Besides, according to O. Matytsin’s words, the organizing committee ‘Kazan-2013’ will hold presentations on preparation and organization of the Summer Universiade-2013. “I can say with confidence that ‘Tatar House’ in Belgrade will be the centre of Russian sport and public life at the Universiade,” he is convinced.
