Canada School of Public Service experts to hold a seminar in Kazan

The seminar on Strategic planning and assessment of regional programmes effectiveness will be held on June 25-26 at the Centre for Advanced Economic Research of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences. The event is organized under the guidance of the Tatarstan Ministry of Economy. Expert of the Canada School of Public Service Walter Zubritsky, who has 25 years of experience in programmes effectiveness assessment, will conduct the seminar.

Organizing the process of strategic planning, development, assessment and monitoring of regional special-purpose programmes, international and Canadian experience on planning and reporting systems will be discussed at the meeting.

The event is organized as part of the Russian-Canadian programme “Assistance to reforming public administration in the Russian Federation”. It is a joint project of the Russian Federation president administration and the Canadian Agency for International Development. The programme is aimed at learning and applying Canada’s experience in the field of public administration and public service in Russia, Tatarstan Economy Ministry’s press-service reports.
